Channel Island Trips - 4 day trips to Alderney which is just 70miles from Poole. Fish on the way over and stay in B&B on the Island. Wreck fishing on the crossing days for pollack, cod, congers and ling then bank fishing on the island days for turbot, brill and bass. Also there is excellent reef fishing for tope, congers, pollack, bream and rays. A wonderful, relaxing holiday.
Cherbourg Angling Holidays: Our 3 day Cherbourg trips have become one of our most popular angling holidays over the last few years. During the course of the trip we fish for a variety of different species including: cod, bass, pollock, ling, tope, rays, congers and black bream depending on the time of year. Stopping in the French port of Cherbourg allows us to fish wrecks further away from Poole that we wouldn’t be able to get to on a day trip. As well as this the hotel is only a short walk away from the harbour so you are able to freshen up and head out to take in the vibrant nightlife and mouth watering cuisine the town has to offer.
Wreck Fishing - A day trip out to mid channel to fish over war time wrecks. Expect Pollack, Cod, Ling or Conger eels depending on the time of year and tide.
Bank Fishing - Bank fishing for turbot, brill and plaice can be excellent and is well within reach of Silver Spray
Bass Fishing - We can offer specialist bass fishing trips. We fish the offshore banks with livebaits or lures. Also offer freelining trips in shallow water targeting specimen bass with a maximum of 6 anglers.
Winter Cod Fishing - Poole Bay and the Needles area off the Isle of Wight offer lunker winter cod together with whiting, congers, Pollack , bass and rays
Shark Fishing - During the summer months we offer trips to target huge porbeagle and threasher sharks. When you hook up a shark expect the fight of your life. While waiting for a shark it is possible to catch tope and bass. All sharks are released at the side of the boat.
Inshore Fishing - The is a good range of inshore fishing for species such as tope, rays, bream, dogfish, whiting and many more.
